Ball sports, bubbles, and laughter
What happens when colleagues suddenly face each other on a floorball court? The barrier to talking with people from other departments drops pretty quickly. We offer tournaments in floorball, football, and basketball – adapted to the size and ambition level of your group.
Bubble football is exactly as chaotic as it sounds. You step into inflatable bubbles and try to play football – but it usually ends with half the team rolling around on the pitch. It's hard to stay stiffly professional when you're bouncing into your manager. Perfect as an icebreaker or as a fun close to a long conference day.
Prefer something a little calmer? Cornhole and golf putting work great for groups who want a bit of friendly competition without having to get changed. Both activities take just a few minutes to learn, but the competitive spirit tends to last considerably longer.
Sand and snow – right in the heart of Göteborg
Just a stone's throw from the hotel, Beach Center offers a large number of sand courts, palm trees, and the sound of waves – year-round, whatever the weather. Beach volleyball as a conference activity works surprisingly well, even for those who've never set foot in sand before. Split the group into teams and run a quick tournament between sessions.
Want to swap sand for snow? Skidome is in the same building and offers indoor cross-country ski tracks at sub-zero temperatures. Equipment is available to borrow on site and no prior experience is needed. For groups looking for an extra challenge, we can arrange biathlon – complete with rifles, a shooting range, and a final competition for the competitive ones.
The combination of sand and snow under one roof is pretty hard to find anywhere else. It makes it easy to vary the programme without having to shuttle the group back and forth across the city.
Team building that works for everyone
Not everyone in the group wants to run around on a football pitch – and they don't have to. We have activities that work regardless of age, fitness level, or competitive instinct. Quiz and trivia bring the group together around a table instead of a pitch, and it tends to be just as engaging.
Spa and relaxation at Nordic Wellness's relaxation area is another option. Bubble pools, sauna, and a view over Skidome – right in the middle of the arena. You can even book the entire area exclusively for your group if you'd like some privacy.
The great thing about having everything gathered at Kviberg is that you can mix freely. Half the group plays beach volleyball while the rest unwind in the sauna. Then you swap. No bus, no logistics – just an elevator or a staircase away.
Skiing during school holidays – for families and groups
Kviberg Park Hotel & Conference partners with Skidome and offers indoor cross-country skiing year-round. During school holidays, special packages are available for families who want to combine a hotel stay with activities on the snow.
It's a great way to fill the holiday with something out of the ordinary – without having to travel to the mountains. The kids get to try the ski tracks while the parents can enjoy some time in the restaurant or the relaxation area. In short: a mini-break with variety for the whole family.

The hotel has been awarded the international environmental certification Green Key. This means we actively work with environmental and sustainability issues by following Green Key's criteria for energy, water, waste, and chemicals.
